Guideline for Location Information Expression Format POIX_EX

In June 2003, the ITS Mobile Communications System Expert Group of the ITS Info-communications Forum has published the 2nd edition of "POIX_EX Location Information Expressions Format Guideline (ITS FORUM RC-001)".
At this time, the English-language version is opened on this Website.

This guideline mainly describes about the contents and format of location information expression for realizing the location-based services which will be forecasted to be used from now under mobile communications environment.
Towards an ITS world congress 2004, it decides to open an English-language edition, in order that a reference may also make it overseas one widely.
